I just moved into my parents house and am having trouble connecting to their wireless network and when I am able to connect I get kicked after a minute or two, maybe longer if I'm lucky. Their wireless is not encrypted and I have a very strong signal. One of my neighbors has an open wireless network which I am able to connect to and use perfectly even though it has a much weaker signal. There are two other laptops in my house which are able to connect to our network just fine and with no problems at all. I looked up some help online and the only thing I can find is to change the channel the router is set on to avoid interference but this is the advice usually given out when ALL computers are experiencing the same problem which is not what is happening here. I will try to change the channel and see if that helps but I was wondering if there was anything else specific to my computer I can do to help the problem. Thanks.
